In your portfolio, you can see the result of your whisky investment.

At the top of this page, you will see a summary of your portfolio.

Explanation

  1. Purchase value: total price you paid to purchase the bottles.
  2. Market Value:  the current value of your portfolio. This value is determined based on the latest trade price, or a bidding price if the bottle has not yet been traded. If there are no bids, the purchase price will be used. For bottles in cask (virtual bottles), the market value is based on the last traded price. If the bottle has not yet been traded, the bid price will be used. If there are no bids, the purchase value is used as the market value. For physical bottles, the market value is equal to THE SWEX market price. THE SWEX market price is constructed using historical data from four components: Whiskystats auction data, Whiskystats retail sales data, THE SWEX transactions and transactions involving SWI investment management agreements.
  3. Unrealised profit/loss (€): the difference between market value and invested value in euros.
  4. Unrealised profit/loss (%): the difference between market value and invested value in percentage.
