1. Verification - After you confirm your email address you will be asked to verify your identity and bank account number. You will be redirected to OPP's platform. You can then choose between verification via iDIN or uploading a valid proof of identity (driving license, passport or identity card) to verify your identity.


2. IDIN (For Dutch Nationals) - The iDIN check is the easiest and fastest way, especially if you use internet banking. 


3. ID (For non-Dutch) - If you cannot or do not want to use iDIN, you can upload a valid proof of identity (driving licence, passport or identity card).


4. Bank Account Verification - After verifying your identity, OPP will perform another check on the specified account number. The verification of your bank account is done via iDEAL by transferring € 0.01.


If there are any problems with the verification of the bank account, OPP will inform you by email. Possible problems include:


- The name of the bank account does not match the identity document.

- The ID data cannot be processed or is incorrect.

- The ID has expired.

The so-called PSD2 legislation has come into effect since September 2019. This is a European directive for the payment transactions of consumers and companies.
